This is one of my most ambitious project to date. In 2016 I read the book “The Physics of Sorrow” by the great Bulgarian writer Georgi Gospodinov. I was very moved by the message and the mood of the novel and decided to write sort of a soundtrack to it. The video is the first part of a suite I wrote. I was fortunate to get in touch with Mr. Gospodinov and we collaborated on the creation of the project and the concept. Spoken words were included in the piece in order to capture the message and to engage the listener. The synthesis between literature and music is an important part of the piece in order to convey the ideas and feelings of the specific stories and characters.
